What does HEMA-free mean?
HEMA (hydroxyethyl methacrylate) is a common gel polish ingredient that some people become sensitive to over time. Every LunaNail gel color and our no-wipe top coat are formulated without HEMA.
What is TPO, and why is LunaNail gel TPO-free?
TPO is a photoinitiator that helps many gels cure under a lamp. The European Union restricted TPO in cosmetics from September 2025. LunaNail gel polish and top coat are made in Europe without TPO.
Is LunaNail vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes. LunaNail gel polish, top coat and cuticle oil are vegan and cruelty-free.
Do I need a UV or LED lamp?
Yes. LunaNail Gel Couleur and the No-Wipe Top Coat cure under a UV or LED nail lamp. Apply thin coats and cure each one.
How do I do a gel manicure at home with LunaNail?
1. Prep and lightly buff the nail, apply a gel base coat and cure. 2. Apply two thin coats of Gel Couleur, curing each under a UV/LED lamp. 3. Finish with the LunaNail No-Wipe Top Coat and cure. There is no sticky layer to wipe off.
How do I remove LunaNail gel polish?
Gently file the shine off the top coat, soak the nails with an acetone-based remover, then push the softened gel off softly. Finish with LunaNail Cuticle Oil.
Does the no-wipe top coat work with other gel brands?
It works over most soak-off gel colors. For best results we recommend the full LunaNail system.
Is a glass nail file better than a metal file or emery board?
For natural nails, usually yes. Etched crystal glass files with a fine, even texture that leaves a smooth, sealed edge, which helps reduce splitting and peeling. Glass is non-porous, so it rinses clean, and it does not dull like an emery board.
How do I clean a glass nail file or glass cuticle pusher?
Rinse it under water and dry it after each use. Because crystal glass is non-porous and does not rust, it stays hygienic. Handle with care and avoid dropping it.
What is the difference between the File & Buffer 2-in-1 and the Nail File?
The File & Buffer 2-in-1 has an etched side to shape and a nano-glass side that buffs natural nails to a mirror shine without polish. The Nail File is the essential crystal file for shaping only. Both measure 90 × 22 × 3 mm and come in a velvet case.
How do I use the cuticle oil roll-on?
Roll a thin line of oil along each cuticle and massage for a few seconds. Use it daily, especially after hand washing, before bed and after a gel manicure. It can be used around a cured gel manicure.
What sizes are LunaNail products?
Gel Couleur and the No-Wipe Top Coat are 0.25 fl oz (7.5 ml). Cuticle Oil is 0.37 fl oz (11 ml) in a mineral glass bottle. Crystal glass files measure 90 × 22 × 3 mm.
Where are LunaNail products made?
LunaNail is designed in Germany. Gel polish, top coat and cuticle oil are made in Europe, and the crystal glass nail files and cuticle pusher are made in the Czech Republic from Bohemian glass.
Where does LunaNail ship, and how fast?
We ship to addresses within the United States from US fulfillment centers. Orders are usually processed in 1 to 2 business days, and you receive tracking by email as soon as your order ships.
What is the LunaNail return policy?
Unopened, unused products can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. For hygiene reasons, opened gel polish, top coat and cuticle oil cannot be returned unless they arrived damaged or defective. Damaged or incorrect items are replaced or refunded at no cost.
